Ascendio AI enhances retail marketing with data-driven, conversion-focused content. It combines first-party data, SEO, and qualitative insights to create valuable, compliant, and ethical content at scale. It delivers customized touchpoints, SEO articles, and effective product descriptions.
With an innovative new AI-powered product built for the Microsoft platform, e-commerce digital marketing specialists, Orange Line, saw the opportunity to market Ascendio AI on the Azure Marketplace.
But getting its smart solution – for delivering high-quality AI content at scale – listed and transacting on the marketplace proved to be technically challenging. For that reason, Orange Line looked for a faster and smoother way to onboard to Azure.
That’s when a recommendation from another Microsoft Partner led them to WeTransact.
“We all know the Microsoft ecosystem is very tricky to navigate. Sylvia and the team at WeTransact made it fantastically easy for us to launch our product on the marketplace with minimal effort. I see WeTransact as a wonderful shortcut.” - David Einstein, Co-founder, Orange Line
Orange Line is a digital marketing and consultancy company, prolific in the areas of content, SEO, and social media. It’s worked with some of the biggest names in tech including Expedia, AWS, and Atlassian. With the dawn of AI about to disrupt just about everything in the world, the company took the bold decision to lean into it, rather than shy away from it.
Opting to use AI to its advantage, Orange Line designed a system that embodied its own expertise and experience in enterprise SEO, content, and UX for large, complex businesses with a strong online presence. The resulting AI-driven product – Ascendio AI – deploys specially trained AI agents to discover online opportunities for revenue and growth.
Most businesses don’t have the resources to identify all the opportunities and build the assets required to run really fast in the e-commerce space. Ascendio AI – a collection of AI agents that act on behalf of Orange Line – changes that. Following a strict set of rules, the AI creates assets and content that optimizes search visibility, and conversion. It’s a human–AI partnership. People create the strategies to fit the business needs and competitive landscape, and then set AI agents to work on content.
For example, say you have an e-commerce website with 10,000 SKUs. Optimizing on-page content for each one would take more people power than most businesses could justifiably afford. On the other hand, Ascendio AI scans those pages and optimizes the content quickly, autonomously, and effectively for you.
Microsoft puts a huge amount of energy into supporting products that build upon its platform and AI foundation. Orange Line already had a close relationship with Microsoft, and so building in that ecosystem made total sense. For that reason, Ascendio AI was made with Azure Marketplace in mind.
The challenge was how to successfully navigate the Azure Marketplace and onboard Ascendio AI as smoothly as possible. After ongoing conversations with the head of Microsoft’s ISV program, Orange Line was put in touch with Crayon, and they recommended WeTransact.
“Now WeTransact is up and running, it’s really easy to use. In a few weeks, we’ve made our first marketplace sale.” – David Einstein, Co-founder, Orange Line
WeTransact’s Sylvia Stojanovski, Managing Director APAC, knew exactly what needed to be done. Orange Line was immediately impressed by her practical knowledge. Sylvia understood the environment extremely well, and how to navigate the Partner Center. When going at it alone, Orange Line struggled with the complexities and nuances of the marketplace setup. The help given by Sylvia enabled them to connect the dots.
Now that Ascendio AI is successfully listed and transacting, Orange Line has plans to bring other products and services onto the Azure Marketplace. With the path already trodden, and the trail blazed with expert guidance from WeTransact, the company feels confident about moving forward with WeTransact’s ongoing support. Transacting on the marketplace makes it much easier to do business outside their native Australia, so the company is also looking at landing in the US marketplace.
