Rydoo's Journey on Microsoft Marketplace: Strengthening Partnerships and Enhancing Customer Experience

Rydoo, a smart expensing company founded in Belgium in 2018, has been at the forefront of transforming how companies manage their finances, focusing on efficiency, control and compliance for employees. They have revolutionized expense management by digitizing traditional processes like the scanning of paper receipts, ensuring everything is easy to submit and quick to reimburse. Today, Rydoo operates in over 130 countries, serving over 1 million users, from small businesses to large enterprises globally and processing over 20 million expenses a year.

Embracing Azure Marketplace for Wider Reach

To expand partnerships and tap into Microsoft's ecosystem, Sophie Vandriessche, Chief Revenue Officer together with the Partnership Team at Rydoo, identified a valuable opportunity to expand their market reach. Recognizing the universal requirement for efficient expense management across different industries, Rydoo strategically chose to list on the Azure Microsoft Marketplace. This decision was not just about widening their audience, but also about integrating more closely with their existing clients' systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics.

Choosing WeTransact

While evaluating the task of publishing a transactable listing on the Marketplace, Rydoo took into consideration the timeline, the technicalities involved, and the internal resources required. They also considered how they would sustain and optimize their listings, for which they required certain reporting functionalities and tools. After determining a set of priorities, being able to have their transactable offer published as quickly as possible, with an easy to navigate platform which could enable autonomy while still providing guidance, Rydoo's Microsoft Partner Development Manager put Rydoo in touch with Wetransact.

After a full market screen, Rydoo chose WeTransact. For Rydoo, what made WeTransact stand out from competitors was their ability to collaborate closely in a personalized manner.

“With WeTransact, we can be up and running very quickly. The user interface is there, the usability is there, all the reporting, analytics, and integrations are there as well. And I think when we compare the cost of assigning one of our senior developers to fully devote his time to it, it still outweighs the cost of us doing it with WeTransact. And then we also get this very easy tool to use!” Justin Borja - Former Head of Partnerships at Rydoo.

How Rydoo’s Goals Were Met

The primary goal was to ensure Rydoo’s customer facing teams were enabled on driving Microsoft Marketplace sales opportunities. What made the partnership with Wetransact truly stand out to Rydoo was the personalized Go-To-Market sessions to accomplish that.

The second goal for Rydoo was to tap into the reseller ecosystem on Microsoft’s Marketplace , where WeTransact helped to leverage the Microsoft Marketplace , tapping into a big network of available partners - while expanding Rydoo’s listing reach.

An Ongoing Partnership

Rydoo's collaboration with WeTransact led to a successful listing on the Azure Marketplace, allowing them to reach a wider audience and strengthen partnerships. As Rydoo continues to scale and innovate in smart expense management, the collaboration with WeTransact stands as a part of their growth strategy, providing them with the agility, insights, and efficiency they need to excel in the competitive marketplace landscape.
