2bcloud spotted a trend. Many of its customers – especially those in B2B – wanted to join the Azure marketplace specifically to develop a go-to-market (GTM) strategy with Microsoft. Listing on the marketplace sounds simple enough. But even for digital natives and savvy startups, it’s still a major challenge to navigate the complexities and make an offer transactable. On top of that, there are the tax implications and forms that need completing. For most vendors, it takes a long time – around 6 months – to fully onboard to the Azure marketplace, even with an expert on hand to guide them. Testing it out on their own marketplace product, 2bcloud discovered two things about WeTransact’s solution. First, it was a huge time-saver. Second, it helped with the next phase – the process of becoming IP co-sell-ready and MACC (Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment) eligible.
